Scope of Services: Architecture and Planning and Project management
The Hydraulic Research Development Centre at Ugwueke in Abia State is a masterplanned campus of just over 18 hectares. Laboratories, an administrative block, a conference centre and staff housing share the site with a treatment plant, storage tanks, a filling station, an airstrip and helipad, all linked by a planted road network.
The layout separates research, residential and utility zones so the centre can operate as a largely self sufficient settlement, with medical, security and recreational facilities on site. Design Modules is responsible for architecture, planning and project management, from the conceptual layout plan to the design of the individual buildings.
